How Refunds Work On DayOf

When refunds apply and how to get one?

Client cancellations

The Initial Payment (50% of the booking total) is non refundable under all circumstances. The Final Payment is subject to the cancellation timeline:

  • More than 6 months before the event: Final Payment not charged.

  • Between 90 days and 6 months: 25% of the Final Payment charged.

  • Within 90 days: Full Final Payment charged.

Vendor cancellations

If a vendor cancels your booking, you are entitled to a refund. Submit a ticket through the platform to initiate the refund process.

Platform fees

All fees paid or deducted are non-refundable, including fees for optional promotional features or fees related to cancellations or disputes.

Disputes

DayOf does not mediate or resolve disputes between clients and vendors. If you have a payment dispute, we recommend working directly with your vendor first. If you need further assistance, contact us at help@dayofweddings.com.
