What Happens If A Booking Is Canceled

A guide for both clients and vendors.

By Genner, Head of User Support

If a client cancels

The financial impact depends on timing:

  • More than 6 months out: Final Payment not charged. Initial Payment non-refundable.

  • 90 days to 6 months out: 25% of the Final Payment charged. Initial Payment non-refundable.

  • Under 90 days: Full Final Payment charged. Initial Payment non-refundable.

Rescheduling is treated as a cancellation and rebooking. Vendors are not required to honor reschedule requests.

If a vendor cancels

  • The client is entitled to a refund. Clients should submit a ticket through the platform to initiate the process.

  • The vendor is charged back the Initial Payment (and Final Payment if already collected) plus an amount equal to the Booking Fees, and a $195 cancellation fee.

  • Two cancellations in 12 months may result in account suspension. Three results in permanent removal.

Vendor cancellations are only permitted for verified emergencies (medical emergency, death/critical illness of family, natural disaster, government travel restriction), with documentation required within 72 hours.
